Position Overview
We are currently seeking meticulous, highly professional individuals to apply for the role of Medical Route Service Courier. In this crucial role, you will operate a company-provided light vehicle, driving a dedicated daily route to pick up medical specimens from doctor's offices, hospitals, and clinics, safely transporting them back to the Labcorp laboratory for testing.
Core Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle across local urban and suburban routes in varying weather conditions.
- Execute the precise, timely pickup and delivery of highly sensitive medical specimens, strictly adhering to established route schedules to ensure testing viability.
- Maintain uncompromising compliance with all HIPAA privacy regulations and OSHA bloodborne pathogen safety protocols.
- Manage the "cold chain" effectively, utilizing specialized coolers and dry ice to ensure temperature-sensitive specimens are preserved perfectly during transit.
- Provide highly professional, courteous customer service when interacting with nurses, doctors, and clinic staff on your route.
Qualifications and Benefits
