The Role in Focus

What are the core responsibilities?
As a Refrigerated Grocery Delivery Driver, you will operate a commercial tractor pulling 53-foot multi-temp refrigerated trailers (reefers). You are responsible for transporting highly perishable goods from our automated distribution centers directly to Kroger retail stores across the region.

How do you manage food safety?
Maintaining the cold chain is paramount. You will meticulously monitor trailer temperature zones during transit, ensuring that all frozen and chilled groceries arrive at the store perfectly preserved and in strict compliance with food safety regulations.

What is the physical environment like?
This role is primarily focused on driving and safe dock navigation. While you may assist store personnel with the unloading process using pallet jacks, it does not involve the heavy, piece-by-piece hand unloading common in other foodservice sectors.

Qualifications and Total Rewards

Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) and maintain an exceptional driving record with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
