Position Overview

We are seeking highly professional, safety-oriented commercial drivers for the role of Target Regional CDL-A Truck Driver. In this crucial position, you will serve as the primary link between our massive regional Distribution Centers and our retail storefronts. This role offers excellent predictability, late-model equipment, and a schedule that allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer combination (53-foot dry van) across regional interstate and local highway routes.
• Store Delivery: Transport palletized retail merchandise directly to Target store loading docks, executing precise backing maneuvers in tight suburban and urban receiving areas.
• Drop-and-Hook Efficiency: Maximize your driving hours through efficient drop-and-hook operations at most store locations, minimizing live-unload wait times.
• Compliance & Safety: Conduct meticulous pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and maintain strict adherence to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
