Position Overview

We are seeking elite, detail-oriented commercial drivers for the role of Target Fresh Grocery CDL-A Driver. In this vital role, you will be responsible for transporting highly perishable goods from our Food Distribution Centers directly to Target retail stores. This position requires an understanding of temperature-controlled logistics, an unwavering commitment to safety, and the ability to execute timely regional runs.

Core Supply Chain Responsibilities

• Refrigerated Transport: Safely operate a commercial tractor pulling 53-foot multi-temp refrigerated trailers (reefers) across regional and local routes.
• Cold Chain Compliance: Meticulously monitor trailer temperature zones during transit to ensure all frozen and refrigerated groceries arrive at the store in perfect, safe condition.
• Store Receiving Coordination: Navigate carefully into tight retail loading docks and coordinate with store logistics teams to ensure the swift, safe unloading of perishable freight.
• Safety Adherence: Conduct rigorous DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain flawless electronic driver logs.

Qualifications and Total Rewards

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A), and possess an immaculate driving record with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
