A Timeline of Your Daily Operations

  • 5:00 AM - Dispatch & Inspection: Arrive at the municipal depot. Conduct a highly meticulous pre-trip safety inspection of your Class B commercial Automated Side Loader (ASL) or Rear Loader garbage truck, checking hydraulic systems and air brakes.
  • 6:30 AM - Residential Route Execution: Navigate local suburban and urban routes. You will carefully operate your heavy-duty vehicle through tight neighborhoods, utilizing automated joystick controls to lift and empty residential waste bins safely.
  • 1:00 PM - Transfer Station Logistics: Complete your residential route and navigate safely to the local landfill or recycling transfer station. You will follow strict safety protocols to weigh your vehicle and safely discharge your payload.
  • 3:30 PM - Return & Post-Trip: Return safely to the home facility. Clean the cab of your vehicle, complete your post-trip DOT paperwork, and head home for the evening to enjoy your free time.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL-B) with Air Brake endorsement and a clean motor vehicle record is required. You must possess the ability to maintain deep focus while operating complex hydraulic machinery in pedestrian-heavy areas. Excellent situational awareness is absolutely mandatory.
